CBT - How to live well through Menopause.
Symptoms can be different for all women, low mood, anxiety, anger, insomnia, mood swings, aches, pains and general feeling of being unwell. Physically, psychologically and emotionally.
CBT is an evidenced based approach to therapy, where we explore new ways of thinking and develop strateriges to mange your menopausal symptoms. CBT helps us to create healthy coping mechanisms and build positive lifestyle habits.
CBT is recommended by NICE for the treatment of anxiety and depression in menopause.

Menome Meet Ups.
We run regular group meet ups, getting outside in nature for walks & talks, with our greatest healer Mother Nature.

Menome Workshops
Many women share different experiences of change through menopause, we are all individual and menopause affects us all differently.
Our workshops will educate and support you to recognise and understand these changes.We provide education, skills and tools which support you to have a more wholesome, nurturing and kinder experience.
Workshop topics including, understanding the stages of your menopause journey, signs and symptoms you will be experiencing, why and how this happens. We explore the 'meno brain', to gain understanding about what is going on in your head and how to reframe your thinking.
Lifestyle changes to include food, mood, sleep, nutrition, exercise, hormones and much more.
Our workshops are incredibly resourceful, interesting, and fun. A perfect way to learn, listen, share, and connect with others.

Menome Team.
Julie and Michelle are both accredited and registered health professionals. They both have over 20 years' experience of working in mental health and wellbeing with the NHS and private sector.
From highly experienced nursing and therapeutic backgrounds Julie and Michelle, are incredibly passionate about living well through menopause.
Just like you they are going through this exciting life cycle. We both have a huge passion for holistic therapy and regulary practice, yoga, meditation and breathwork, we also love the outdoors and walking and exploring new places to meet up.
Julie and Michelle are both members of British Menopause Society (BMS). They continue with regular professional development and training to ensure they meet the requirements of quality menopause education.
